BadBoyMMA.com New Website

Posted by Jessica Luthi
at September 1, 2008

Just a heads up, we have now set up a new ecommerce platform for www.badboymma.com
New one page check out being tweaked, product and store focused, user friendly and fast loading site.
What you need to do. Please go and grab the new links. All banners and text links that point to the home page with the url www.badboymma.com nothing changes. You only need to change your links if you were linking to www.badboymma.com/store, www.badboymma.com/HOODIES, www.badboymma.com/tshirts , www.badboymma.com/rashguards , www.badboymma.com/fightershorts

What you also need to know…we have asked ShareASale to add the parameters aid={AFFILIATE_ID}&anw=SAS to every redirect to BadBoyMMA.com
We know this is a pain for you, but… the old platform was rubbish for conversion and hey, its all about conversions right?

We will be focusing on the product feeds next and then I will hand you over to Emma Haslam, Mixed Martial Arts affiliate manager.

Thank you so much for all your support and if you need a coupon just shout jess at affiliateprogramadvice.com

Have a great Labor day off and for those who did not get a day off.. me included, Im having a beer at some point during Monday to celebrate anyway.

Jess

at August 28, 2008

Hi everyone.

Stand-Out.Net is gearing up for September with some great offers.  I’ll be posting our new top ten soon on the AW platform.  In addition Blank Branded Widgets will be available hopefully from the end of next week.  These can be populated from our datafeed which is updated now almost every day.

XMas creative will be sorted out during September and over the next four weeks Stand-Out.Net is putting together the finishing touches for the XMas season.

Of the brands listed I would like to share a little insight with you so you can look at preparing your promotions.  Please see some of the brands you can deeplink to and the supplementary comments.

For all the other merchants going “OMG Why didn’t we think of this?” well here at APA we work closely with our merchants.

Ames Bros, American based clothing brand with great bold graphic design. Short order brand so new prints normally every 6-10 weeks so awaiting new prints.
California Surf Co, Expect hoodies and tees over the next month – a brand from the creators of Superdry.
Converse, The trainers as they have been a great hit.
Duck and Cover, A few key pieces have already started to arrive, expect more.
Farah Vintage, Expecting this to be a popular brand, higher end of the market with clean cut polos, knits etc – Currently only have a small selection but will be growing, farah slacks (trousers) were very popular in the 80’s and the retro / vintage is making a re-birth.
Fila Gold, styles due next week. a move on from the vintage range – more commercial and fashion oriented pieces strong polos.
Fila Vintage, styles due next week. Fila was very popular in the 80’s and the retro style is making a re-birth. Known well amongst football gangs – well known piece “matchday” jacket.
Fly 53, new product due in this week. Nylon Jackets are popular. Have a wide range of products. Very streetwear.
Gabicci Vintage, few more styles expected in sep. 70s/80s comeback this look of smart polos and knits are coming back strong for the AW season. The clean image will make this brand sit ideally into the AW style.
Gio Goi, few more styles expected in sep, such as heavier garments coats etc. become very big in the late 90’s into 2000 then had a quiet couple of years then has made a massive impact using the music industry to make it what it is. The trademark white label tee has been very strong over the last few seasons and  zip up tracks are another strong area. Has recently won many fashion awards for young fashion brand.
Goorin Brothers, New styles coming end of august. only hat maker brand that we stock and do produce a quality hat with many styles that fit into many fashion areas be it fedoras (indie look) or cadet/baseball caps for everyday casual use. Plus a oversized beanie that has become popular since Beckham was wearing similar styles.
Guide London, do formal shirts to casual shirts and jerseys. Shirt inset is a very popular product as well as their darker colour roll up sleeve shirts.
Henleys, a wide range of products. Strong visual tees and hoodies. Do a “bling” range of tees (foil prints& rhinestones) more stock due over next 6 weeks.
Inspire Wire, AW range is in. A new up and coming brand for this season. Inspired by music with some great prints. Not many stockists online/offline.

Our Friends at R.O.EYE supporting Ebay.co.uk Affiliate Program

Posted by Jessica Luthi
at August 19, 2008

Always pleased to see our friends over at R.O.EYE pulling in another fish. Mark K and the gang… well done!
Ebay UK will be in good hands :)

R.O.EYE are extremely pleased to announce that they will be working alongside the eBay UK
Affiliate team and helping them to support the UK’s premium retail network, the eBay Partner
Network.
Since its launch on 1st April, the eBay Partner Network has already played a significant part in
the UK affiliate industry, paying hundreds of thousands of pounds in commissions to their
extensive affiliate base every single month.
The programme pays affiliates a percentage of the seller’s fees and also rewards for new
users who sign up and bid on or purchase any item.
R.O.EYE’s objectives are to further develop the network through servicing the needs of the
existing affiliate base, including their effective optimisation and recruiting more publishers.
We are also working with eBay to maximise activity from new affiliate business models, which
are at the cutting edge of affiliate marketing and are beginning to generate significant volume.
Affiliates have access to their own login area with a range of easy to use tools for every
business model, ranging from diverse creatives to integrating eBay listings. There’s also the
opportunity to receive commissions from international sales through geo-targeted creatives
and links. Its ongoing development, driven largely from affiliate feedback, is securing its
position as the leading UK independent network.
The development of the eBay Partner Network and the appointment of R.O.EYE underline
eBay’s commitment to affiliate marketing and the development of this significant and
important acquisition channel.

Please do not hesitate to contact Chris Worthy, Ben Friedman or Pooja Kashyap
(Pooja at ro-eye.co.uk)at R.O.EYE for more details.
