Tips using BeCheeky by way of Example

Tips to start helping generate some sales re BeCheeky.com

This bit of advice can be applied to most of the merchants that you work with, in this case we are using BeCheeky.com as the example. We all know that our beloved google thrives on content rich websites, this being probably the most important criteria for those men in black. A lot of the websites I see, seem to be lacking in any kind of original descriptive content. I appreciate it is probably a time factor for many or not really knowing what to say or how to say it (this should be provided by your merchant/advertiser. How it links into your key words, page titles, description, image text, headers and so on… One of the ways you could approach writing original content for your merchant, is to ask that merchant for a paragraph about the industry and ask for a paragraph for one of the products. Example:
Generic
BeCheeky.com – the specialist online shop for a great choice of sexy and seductive women’s thongs, g-strings, micro strings, knickers and tangas. We stock lingerie from top quality specialist designers and manufacturers around the world – most of our items simply can’t be bought on the high street and many of the lines are exclusive to BeCheeky.com.

Product specific
This red micro thong made from silk and feels cool against the skin. Available in small, medium and large. This thong is designed to be tied at the sides and rest comfortably on the hips. Practical, yet very feminine.

Before I continue, I have two experiments for you to do now.
Go to google and enter the search term Thongs…..
Now do a search term for red micro thong, you will see you get very different search result. I can see immediately that I can dominate this search term by creating a content rich page about red micro thongs. This is what we know… the search terms for g-strings, thongs, lingerie and knickers is very competitive, chances are it is and will continue to be difficult to rank high for these search terms. The more niche search terms you go for the higher you may rank in the search engines.

Ok, back to writing something descriptive and original.
There is no substitute for a thesaurus

I have made bold words that you can change and find alternatives for.

BeCheeky.com – the specialist online shop for a great choice of sexy and seductive women’s thongs, g-strings, micro strings, knickers and tangas. Now replace those bold words with a substitute word and voila, original content.
This is a double wammy as some of the bold words will make up your key words.
page titles, descriptions and so on.

In order to keep pace with google you do not have to be an expert in SEO to rank highly, you just need to listen to what has been said over and over again…. Content, content, content & more content and keep it niche.

Too many merchants to promote and not enough hours in the day? You can either delegate work or you can finely tune your website… spreading yourself to thin will result in rushed pages, not optimized correctly, how many times have you thrown up a page and said to your self “Ill optimize that one tomorrow”? You go away and forget about it. Keep it simple :0)
