Webgains iSense Ad Creator
Firstly, for those that did not know, webgains.com has a new webgains blog http://blog.webgains.com/ and I for one am finding it the bees knees, well organised and really has been created with the affiliate in mind and nice to see you don’t need a PHd in software theory and applied quantum physics.
Firstly, for those that did not know, webgains.com has a new webgains blog http://blog.webgains.com/ and I for one am finding it the bees knees, well organised and really has been created with the affiliate in mind and nice to see you don’t need a PHd in software theory and applied quantum physics.Introducing the Webgains iSense Ad Creator the content unit tool that automatically adds contextually relevant product advertising to an affiliate page. This is actually quite a smart tool, you may need to have some knowledge in creating templates, height and width, but the instructions are clear, in layman’s terms. I quite like the idea that if an affiliate has a page about fashion, the smart tool searches for the most appropriate merchant and or product to serve up to your visitor. Now here is a nice addition, let’s say your user has typed in the search term, “black vans skate shoes” and none of your merchants that you have joined carries this brand of shoe, or… if they do, there are none in black. Well, the tool searches for any merchant in webgains.com who does have black vans skate shoes, if the affiliate has not joined that merchants program, no problem at all, you are automatically joined to that program if the click through and sale transaction is carried out.
The only down side I see with automatically being joined to a merchants program, is there are some merchants out there that an affiliate may object to being part of their program for what ever reason. I cant escape the fact that this is a cool tool.
