You can use a few tools out there if you do a search for plagiarism.
http://www.copyscape.com is my favorite tool.
You could go to the extreme and just make you text into a j.pg, not SE friendly but would work. My take is just relax and don’t worry too much about it, if anyone is copying you, take it as a compliment. The internet laws are pretty useless to enforce, getting better for sure but still have a long ways to go. If you are prepared to sue make sure you have plenty of money otherwise there are things you can do yourself. Try to contact the website owner. www.whois.com always put things is writing, don’t phone as you may need proof or copies. Ask that they cease and give them one warning in writing. The Email or letter should have your course of actions. Don’t threaten to sue if you cant follow it through, you can how ever say “ I will be seeking legal advice.” There are a number of things you can do http://www.plagiarism.org/ for free.
But all said and done, it wont take away the feelings of anger when any form of plagiarism is discovered, don't get me started on business ideas and NDA's
Thanks for stopping by, I really did not see this post until just now :)

With havin so much written content do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of exclusive content I've either written myself or outsourced but it seems a lot of it is popping it up all over the internet without my authorization. Do you know any techniques to help prevent content from being ripped off? I'd certainly appreciate it.
