Yup the domain name is still available and it is a search term that has thousands of women use. I heard recently that these types of long phrase search terms is becoming a thing of the past. I beg to differ, type into google plussizedresses.com what comes up as No1 (non sponsored listings). The old saying is if you don’t rank for No1 on your own domain name you have to be doing something very wrong. Now type in Size 18 Plus Size shorts into google, hey lookie here no one has the domain name. Going niche when you cant afford a generic domain name is a way forward and to be honest for me I would prefer the more targeted domain name than a generic only because I get easily distracted. Having a targeted domain name would keep me focused.
There are loads of niche domain names still to be had and if you want to keep costs low and your not technically mindind, if you register a domain name with godaddy.com and sign up with blogger.com you can map your domain name so your blog becomes www.yourdomian.com instead of myblog.blgger….
Blogging and true content, my favorite affiliates simply because I know these affiliates will rank highly in search engines, the more true content (your own words) the better off you will be. The pages you create will be cached and listed in google for a long time meaning, you may end up earning commissions years down the line from that blog review you did on that advertiser or product. If you don’t have the budget for paid search and you want to make a real living from this, blogging is one of the best ways to achieve sustainable income. But…. Be prepared to work hard, continuity and commitment is required.
For affiliates who are dabbling with mobile campaigns, now would be a good time to harvest those mobile phone numbers in addition to emails when a user has to register. Affiliate Mobile Marketing is the future and some day they may even be more valuable than an email address, make sure you allow the end user to opt out as we could see the same scenario as we do with spam ads.
I wonder who is already one step ahead and is developing anti mobile ad spam catcher technology, lol
