I would like to get some feed back on this so I can put something together, this affects any one doing any kind of PPC. I think this is a very big issue that simply cant be ignored… takes things to a whole new level.
\nWhat is a botnet\u2026. It is a group of infected PCs and can be based any where in the world. What does it do? It finds vulnerabilities on people\u2019s PC\u2019s, for example if you use spyware or shareware. What has this got to do with you ppc campaign, you are competing with organised click fraud gangs. What has affiliate marketing got to do with this? These rogues sign up as affiliates but it is not just limited to affiliates its just another vehicle.
\nWho are the ones that suffer? The merchants who use paid search as part of their campaigns. Affiliates as they have to compete with this rougues.<\/p>\n

Who benefits, Google and their equivalent rather bury their heads instead of confronting the issue. How big is this? Massive!!! How can we stop it?
