San Diego, California based alternative sports (Mixed Martial Arts) apparel brand is looking for an outstanding candidate to fill the newly created role of Website Developer. The Website Developer will oversee the E-Commerce department, specifically managing the new E-commerce platform to ensure the quality of content and functionality for all who interact with the website. This is a full time position that requires the Website Developer to work from our downtown San Diego office.<\/p>\n
What We Need:
\nA highly dynamic and energetic individual, they will be responsible for the day to day maintenance and upkeep of the E-commerce platform in terms of functionality for both the end users and operations. They will have a good understanding of how E-commerce carts work. They will be a problem solver, an innovator, and will be in the front line of providing support to a busy marketing department. You will hit the ground running.<\/p>\n
Qualifications & Experience
\nYou will have a bachelor\u2019s degree, with excellent written skills and the ability to communicate in layman\u2019s terms to the directors, share holders and co workers. You will have a proven background in web design and software development within an E-commerce and commercial environment.<\/p>\n
You will have a minimum of 2 years commercial experience designing websites, from graphics to user-interface design by developing scripts for all user functionality. This also includes being able to extract stored back-end data and convert into easily accessible files.<\/p>\n
Responsibilities <\/p>\n

\u00b7 Maintain the site daily ensuring all copy, creative and coding is tested and uploaded.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To build and maintain the company intranet.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 To provide technical support and advice to the marketing department and logistics.

Skills <\/p>\n
\u00b7 A clear understanding of user-centred processes involved in the customer journey.<\/p>\n
\u00b7 Highly experienced with HTML, MYSQL Database, PHP, Web editor tools, photo imaging tools, FTP, CRM systems.<\/p>\n
