Looks like Affiliate Summit UK is filling up nicely. The real opportunity here is for any one in affiliate marketing, affiliates, networks, merchants and agencies to find out more about how to enter the US market and vice versa. Never before has an event even touched upon cross border affiliate marketing and from where I sit, if you are not broadening your horizons, your losing money.
If it were a simple case of just identifying gaps in the market (as you should all be doing) then by all accounts it should be straight forward right? After all, we operate on the super global highway. But every country has rules, be they import and export charges, VAT, cost of shipping, currency issues, demographic differences, affiliate network rules, merchant country specific mind set. None of these should be a barrier to entry for any one wanting to expand their business. For the first time and for one day only, now is your chance to seize an opportunity to explore a potential you knew was out there but you never felt you had enough knowledge to make that leap.

Swapping business cards means, whilst you may only have had a brief encounter with a potential business or knowledge source, you can follow up the conversation when you get back to you place of work and in your own time.
