The Hitwise UK Annual Online Performance Awards recognise outstanding online
business achievement and acknowledge the most successful websites in key
industries as defined by the percentage of user visits a website received between
January and December 2005.
Stephen Newton, General Manager of Hitwise UK commented, “Because each day
Hitwise monitors how more than 8 million UK Internet users visit over 150,000 UK
based websites, Hitwise is in the unique position to acknowledge the top online
performers in the UK. While other awards are decided by a panel of judges, the
Hitwise awards are judged by UK consumers”.
