Knowing what the life time value of a customer is not only a key metric its critical to any business. We all work on truffle Shuffle margins. Who ever said that “Shoppers are fickle and will not be loyal to any one online store”, we have proof that TruffleShuffle.co.uk customers love them, and they do come back again and again and again. Is this not the objective of any online business? Of course it is!!
Do investors look at this? Of course they do!
How much more proof will it take to convince certain people that affiliate marketing not only works but does not harm the building of a brand, on the contrary it supports it. In my mind to keep getting sales off “the brand” is very short sighted, brands are increasingly seeing that their on line space is becoming smaller and losing their customers to smaller niche competitor online stores that in some cases, offer better products at cheaper prices, consumers are getting more savvy by the day. A clever investor and a smart MD would look at the long term rather what’s in fashion at the moment, perhaps it’s fashion that is fickle?
Repeat customers are the financial heart and soul of any online business. You may think you have a strong brand, but one tiny algo change, one wrong decision and poof all gone!
Why is this affiliate program working so well?
Simple, great MD’s with a tech & Marketing background, sound knowledge on what their customers are looking for, customer friendly website, products that are in demand, great customer services, good website conversions, great affiliates, sensible ppc restrictions that affiliates can work around, fair commissions and cookies and bobs your uncle!
Quick fact, did you know that truffleshuffle.co.uk ships to the USA and there is a high demand for their products there!
We may reach that magic number this year in affiliate sales… I hope so and if I know affiliates, they will work their buns off to help get it there,
Does affiliate marketing work?
Pardon my French, you better bloody believe it does!

The PPC policy is no bidding on the name via google. But this is set to change and we will be working with a select few affiliates.
Brand bidding is less then 4% outside of google re affiliates.
We are going to implement a no brand bidding policy to the majority of affiliates but we will be working with a few that know this area very well.
sos I should clarify
“use rex swain the first is ts themselves the second is ts with a space (negative kwrds on generics)”
Second is ts aff bidding on negative generic terms, coming up as a broadmatch”
