Aff Summit + Wil Reynolds
“Debunking SEO Myths”
“Let’s not over complicate things.” Probably the best advice I have heard in a long time. This seminar has got to have been one of the best I have ever been to. You know a good seminar when you get really disappointed that it has to end. Wil Reynolds of www.thinkseer.com is an Internet and SEO consultant and what he was saying made absolute sense. The great thing about the delivery of the information, you did not have to be an SEO expert to understand, it was a simple laymans terms approach, some thing for every one. I would advise people to check out Wil’s site http://www.thinkseer.com/blog/
So.. adviceWeb site architecture goes without saying.
Put the most difficult key words or search phrases on the index page first. Use the keyword difficulty tool

Don’t think you can cheat the search engines, stick to the rules, its not worth getting penalised unless you are BMW.

I got such a lot in such a small amount of time. Well Done Aff Summit, I rate this seminar a 10 out of 10 below is from aff summit 2006 but you can see the man in action

Have to agree with you there Jess,
I really enjoyed Wil’s seminar too, he came across as a very articulate, knowledgeable, honest and engaging presenter and I would go so far as to say it’s the best presentation I’ve seen to any internet media event.
For me sadly I found many of the other seminars were invariably very bland, shallow in content, unstimulating and forgettable.
I was delighted to find Wil’s was none of these, his mix of information, resources and techniques was about right for the situation and duration, far too many of the other seminars were too light on tangible, useful information and seemed to be treading water until the bell rang.
Jessica, thanks so much for the kind words. I am really trying hard to be the anti-speaker, who just drones on with case studies about how cool they are, that is just so tired. Expect more links to come.
one small thing, I haven’t updated my personal site in ages, so if you want to link over to where I do most of my writing, I would suggest linking to our blog:

Thanks again, I hope to be around in Miami and to say hello!
