Early Happy 4th of July
Firstly, this is an early happy 4th of July and for the record, I am swayed to believe that the Americans were right to sever their ties with England. But I am also swayed to believe that had the Americans waited for the internet, the problem would have been swiftly resolved with a few terms and conditions and an apple iphone. The merchant (King George) should not have penalised the colonialists, after all if his tea conversions were poor, this was his fault. The British were not to impressed with the whole throwing of the tea into the sea, as the Americans forgot to add the milk and sugar.
The British parliament being quite a corporate lot should not have increased the tax override and should really have negotiated using age old social networking practices and hired a good off line PR agency and invested in some media buying.
Virginians took the first steps in forming an association and it was not long before a best practice charter called, the declaration of independence was written, but like so many things in our industry, it’s a bit vague and is some times open to misinterpretation, but the bones are there.
Happy Independence Day! (We created Monty Python, nerrrrrrr)
