A few short snap shots
AffiliateSummit.com East, location is beautiful Boston. Be warned Boston is not cheap, but it does have a wealth of history, buzzing night life and reminds me a little of Covent Garden. Last time I was there I went on a Whale watching excursion, which Ill never forget. Well its not every day you get to interact with such a magnificent creature. The Boston sea aquarium is a must do as well as following the freedom trail. Ghost tours are a great way to discover Boston, history and exercise and lots of excitement. At the time of the year when the summit is being held, get yourself down to the harbour, for street entertainers. So much to do, so folks heading over from the UK, plan a bit of extra time. Logan airport is just a stones throw away from the city. They have good public transport and the little churches dotted around do provide a cool place to duck out of the heat of the day. Speaking of ducks, the Charles river is a must and for those who don’t have a whole lotta time, get on a duck tour, combines a city tour that includes diving into this immense river. I would seriously consider moving here some day. Any way, The English have been forgiven since the Madness of King George, so you got your independence and we kept our monarchy and X factor. By the way do feel free to Keep David Beckham and Posh! Can we have George Clooney and the Flintstone’s Dino?Google UK, ahhhh bless em, I don’t always have too many nice things to say about them, but how pleasantly surprised I was to see google have got a google logo competition, for kids designed by kids. So get over there and vote for your favourite. I could go on and make reference to the possibilities that google’s motives for this competition is to simply “get em while they are still young” But… Id just be a killjoy and a party pooper, so Ill accept it at face value. The designs are way cool and what ever the motives, we should be encouraging kids to be more creative.(would this be a good moment to moan at the cuts in money and hours in our UK education re the foundation subjects, like Art?, errrrm probably not)
