About Roger Huerta Huerta has become a poster boy for mixed martial arts, being the first MMA athlete to be featured on the cover of Sport Illustrated. Fighting out of Minneapolis, Minnesota Huerta has built an impressive record of 20-1-1. Huerta’s only loss came as a result of a dislocated jaw early in the finals of the Super Brawl 36 tournament against Ryan Schultz on June 18, 2004, his third match of the day. Well known for his spirited fighting style, Huerta is not afraid to trade punches as he proved in his recent three round war against UFC vet Clay Guida.

Huerta was born in Los Angeles, California but grew up in Austin, Texas where he
wrestled on the Crockett Cougar wrestling team. Wrestling led him to a scholarship at Augsburg College, a Division III school in Minneapolis, MN. Shortly after Huerta had acclimated to the hash weather and the mild culture shock of the move, Huerta entered some amateur matches and then, on a lark, fought in a professional no-holds-barred bout at a ballroom in Medina, MN. Not only did he win the match, he became instantly hooked on the excitement and challenge of MMA competition. Huerta has since amassed an impressive record wining his last eleven fights in a row, including recent victories over Clay Guida,Leonard Garcia, and Alberto Crane.

Glad to see Roger with a great company. I love you guys, your designs are awesome. I train under Royler Gracie in New Jersey. As a matter of fact, I was just checking out your line of hoodies and sweatshirts for this winter.
The best to Bad Boy and Roger!
